Joey Savatgy, The New Recruitment To Join The Rocky Mountain ATV MX KTM Race Team. Savatgy Joined The KTM Backed Race Team Late 2020 In Replacement Of Blake Bagget. Yeh, A Mystery. Anyway, Savatgy Was Signed To Complete The 2021 AMA Supercross Schedule In The Premier Class Aboard A KTM 450. After Moving Up To The Premier Class At The Beginning Of 2018, Joey Struggled With Multiple Injuries Throughout His Rookie Season & Another Injury Late 2019 Whilst Training Prior To Racing The Australian Sx Open Before Heading Back To The US To Commencing The 2021 AMA Supercross Series. Due To The Injury Sustained Late 2019, Joey Missed The Early Rounds Of The 2020 AMA Supercross Series. Despite The Injury & Delay In Preparation For 2020, Savatgy Thankfully Was Rewarded A Fill In Ride For Joe Gibs Racing Suzuki To Complete The Remaining Rounds Of The 2020 AMA Supercross Series. At The Conclusion Of The 2020 Season, The Demise & Unfortunate Closure Of Multiple Motocross & Supercross Race Teams Took Place. This Unfortunately Involved The Closure Of Both Geico Honda & JGR Suzuki. Leaving A List Of 250 & 450 Riders Without A Ride For The 2021 AMA Supercross & AMA Pro Motocross Series. Thankfully, Due To The Mystery Disapearance & Early Departure Of Blake Bagget From The Rocky Mountain ATV MC KTM Team Left A Spot On The 450 & KTM Backed Race Team. Opening Up A Spot At The Team, Where Joey Savatgy Was Signed To Race The KTM 450 Throughout The 2021 Supercross Series Alongside Justin Bogle In Replacement Of Blake Bagget. Joey Finished The Year Strong With No Injuries & Securing A Top 10 Place Overall. With A Team Change And An Abrupt Dissolution To The Rocky Mountain KTM Team, Both Joey Savargy And Shane McElrath Were Without A Team Ride. It Was Then Confirmed That Joey Savatgy Would Be Back Riding For Monster Energy Kawasaki For Outdoors. Shane McElrath Will Be Aboard An FC 450 At Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Race Team.
